She has taught at the University of Minnesota, Bowling Green State University, and several technical colleges, including Littleton’s ACC.  She has published six books for those wanting to learn basic electricity, controls, and troubleshooting.

Carol’s kids, Marty and Kate, both graduated from Littleton’s Heritage High School and from the University of Colorado. She and civil engineer Patrick (Pat) Fitzgerald have been together for 20 years. They jokingly call their many evenings at city council meetings “date night at city hall.”

She has also created an online electricity course and published quick and easy books on electricity and hydronic controls. Check them out here.
